Website of a Graphics Novel

The site for one of my favourite graphics novels has been down for over a month. :( I really liked it, have downloaded all the free-to-download part and also bought all the books published so far. I never liked that site though which was the most awkward adaption of wordpress CMS I have ever seen. Well, to be honest, I rather liked that there was no anti-scraping measure at all. ;) I feel so sorry for the marvellous work of the marvellous author.

The domain is currently parked at a stupid page of the registrar. Can I steal the domain and gift it to the author? Is the Cloudflare registrar open to public now?
